C-SC started the second half with a goal on its first shot of the half to pull within 6-5. However, that was the only shot the Wildcats would register in the quarter and the Braves netted four goals on nine shots to take a 10-5 lead to the final period.

Ottawa added four more unanswered goals before the Wildcats notched their two final goals to account for the final score.
