Wildcats Held to One Goal in Heart Loss to Benedictine

The Culver-Stockton College women's lacrosse team opened its conference schedule with a 22-1 loss to 10th-ranked Benedictine College at Legacy Field in Atchison, Kan., Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats were outshot 44-4 in the contest with Lauren Grebing notching C-SC's only goal late in the first quarter on her only shot attempt of the game. Karson Jackson assisted on the play. 

The Ravens, the 2022 NAIA national champion, was in control the entire match, Benedictine forced 26 Wildcat turnovers, held a 36-13 edge in ground balls, and controlled 22 of the 25 draws in the match.

The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, March 30, with a home game against William Penn University at Ellison Poulton Stadium. Game time is slated for 11 a.m.
