Missouri Baptist University outshot the Culver-Stockton women's lacrosse team 40-8 in a 19-2 non-conference victory Tuesday afternoon at Spartan Field in St. Louis, Mo.

The sixth-ranked Spartans held a 23-4 edge in shots in building an 11-1 halftime advantage over the Wildcats. C-SC's only goal in the opening 30 minutes was scored by freshman Kaelin Quarles with an assist from Bella Olson.

The Spartans scored five unanswered goals in the third quarter before C-SC's Lauren Grebing snapped the string with a goal of her own early in the fourth quarter.

The Wildcats (3-5) return to conference action this Friday, April 5, when they face newcomer Mount Mercy University in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match at Ellison Poulton Stadium. The final home game of the season is slated to start at 4 p.m.
