Quarles Lauded by the Heart for the Second Time this Season

Culver-Stockton College midfielder Kaelin Quarles has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the second time after her play in three games last week.

Quarles, a freshman from Hendeson, Nev. (Coronado HS), registered 15 goals and five assists during the Wildcats' 2-1 week. In a 17-1 victory over Mount Mercy (Iowa), Quarles tied the school single-game record with eight goals. Two days later, Quarles added six more goals in a 10-9 victory over Midland (Neb.). During the course of that game, Quarles surpassed the C-SC single-season record of 34 goals set by Sopheea Vomund last season. Quarles currently has 37 goals with two games remaining in the regular season.

The Wildcats (5-5) are back in action this Wednesday, April 10, at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. The opening draw is slated for 4 p.m.
