Three Lacrosse Players Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. Siena Heights (Mich.) led the way with 11 honorees. Cumberlands (Ky.) and Keiser (Fla.) posted 10 student-athletes to the list while SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Reinhardt (Ga.) finished close with nine student-athletes.

Named to the list from the Wildcats were sophomore Bella Olson and Jillian Vervynck and senior Brooke Donley. Donley has been recognized for the third consecutive year.

The 2024 list features 168 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
