Culver-Stockton College forward Alayna Chandler-Gutierrez has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week presented by WinWon the league announced Monday afternoon.

Chandler-Gutierrez, a junior from Valley Center, Calif. (Valley Center HS), earned the weekly honor after scoring five total goals during the Wildcats' 2-0 week. Chandler-Gutierrez netted four goals in a 5-0 victory over Stephens (Mo.) on Aug. 28, and one goal in a 3-1 decision over Harris-Stowe (Mo.) Saturday. She registered the game-winning goal in each game.

For the season, Chandler-Gutierrez has appeared in four games and has a team-leading eight goals this season, including three game-winning goals.

The Wildcats, currently 4-0, are scheduled to host St. Ambrose (Iowa) University this Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Ellison Poulton Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
