Women's Volleyball Loses to Graceland in Three Sets

The Culver-Stockton College women's volleyball team dropped a Heart of America Athletic Conference match at Graceland University 25-19, 25-16, 25-19 Tuesday night in Lamoni, Iowa.

The Wildcats registered just 15 total kills over the first two sets and ended the night with 25 kills overall. C-SC recorded an attack percentage of .052.

Zoe Irvin led the offensive attack with eight kills while Ashleigh Brawley recorded six terminations. Lauren Bloom led C-SC with 20 set assists.

Defensively, Bloom and Kyla Ellis each garnered eight digs each to lead the back row. Brawley and Faith Hopgood tallied one solo bloc and one assisted block each.

The Wildcats continue a four-match road swing this weekend starting Friday night, Sept.29, at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. First serve is slated for 6 p.m. at the Penn Activity Center.
