
Women's Volleyball Can't Find Winning Formula against Grand View
The Culver-Stockton women's volleyball team suffered a three-set loss to Grand View University Saturday afternoon at the Johnson Wellness Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Wildcats registered an attack percentage of less than 10 percent in the first two sets and recorded 10 service errors in the match in falling 25-16, 25-19, 25-22 to the Vikings.
Zoe Irvin led the offense with 10 kills while Ashleigh Brawley garnered seven terminations, and Norah Boggs five kills. Lauren Bloom tallied a team-high 17 set assists, while Kyla Ellis had two of the Wildcats' five service aces.
Ellis and Dilan Perry each reached double figures in digs with Ellis totaling 16 and Perry 13. Perry also had one solo block and one block assist at the net.
The Wildcats are slated to return home this Tuesday, Oct. 24, to battle Peru State College at Charles Field House. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
