Women's Cross Country Ends Season in Heart Championships

The Culver-Stockton College women's cross country program concluded its season in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Wildcats totaled 329 points and finished 12th among the 12 teams that were scored in the event. C-SC registered a total time of 2:33:13 in the six-kilometer race. Benedictine won the title with 28 points.

Individually, Faith Younce was the top Wildcat finisher, placing 57th overall with a time of 26:19.2. That time is the sixth fastest time in school history at the 6K distance.

Morgan Keith finished 78th overall with a time of 29:08.7, and Zoi Smith placed 86th overall with a time of 30:30.5 while Caroline Lindsey placed 91st in a time of 32:22.6.

Klaudia Blaszczyk and Teya Hawkins completed the Wildcat roster in the event. Błaszczyk finished 95th overall with a time of 34:52.7, and Hawkins ended 96th overall with a time of 35:21.1.
