The Culver-Stockton women's cross country team earned an academic honor from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on its return to competition for the 2023 season.

The Women's Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NAIA Cross Country season were announced Thursday. Culver-Stockton earned an All-Academic team honor after garnering a 3.46 team grade point average.

College of Idaho was named the Women's Scholar Team of the Year for the 2023 NAIA Cross Country season. The Coyotes, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.86, won the team title at the 2023 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington. This is the second time that College of Idaho has been named the Women's Scholar Team of the Year for cross country. The Coyotes were previously honored back in 2019.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
